Cotton can catch against hair as you move in your sleep. Silk creates a smoother surface, so your hair slides instead of dragging across the pillow.
It also absorbs less of your night cream than cotton and does not trap heat like cheap polyester satin.
What 22 momme meansMomme is how silk weight is measured. At 22 the fabric is dense enough to survive years of washing and still light enough to sleep cool. Most cases sold as silk are 19 momme or polyester satin.
It will not remove wrinkles you already have or repair damaged hair. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
